From Vivian Moore, President of the Moore & Moore Fan Club:

Hello everyone! Happy Autumn! It’s hard to believe it’s already September, but I’m looking forward to a little cooler weather. It’s been a scorcher this year!

The CMA Music Festival has come and gone for another year. It was great seeing everyone again! The fan club party was a lot of fun at McDougal‘s Village Coop in Nashville. We had several special guests, including Kelly Lang, Casey Kelly, Leslie Ellis, Rich Alves (from Pirates Of The Mississippi), Keith Cochran, Clue & The Honkytones, and even T.G. Sheppard stopped by to sing one of his hits that Casey Kelly co-wrote - “Somewhere Down The Line“. Of course, Moore & Moore helped with the backup vocals and sang a few songs of their own. Our fan club member awards were presented. We had a tie for “Fan Club Member Of The Year“. The awards went to “Wild Women” Chris Neel and Doris Barr. They are incredible friends and fans. Not only do they visit Debbie & Carrie on the road and help sell merchandise, but they also manned the booth most of the time at Fan Fair, which helps me tremendously! The “Fan Club Member Of The Decade” award was presented to Dennie Gentry. Dennie has been a loyal fan for over ten years, and he photographed Moore & Moore when they made their first appearance on the Grand Ole Opry. That photo is on the tour page of the website! Thanks Dennie! Thanks to Barb Thuerk for the beautiful flowers! Thanks to all of Moore & Moore’s friends and fans, the party was a great success and a lot of fun. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Moore & Moore’s new album “Meant To Be” will be available in late October! Debbie & Carrie are working diligently to have it completed by then so they’ll have it ready for Switzerland in November! The new CD will have 11 songs, and will include special guests, Johnny Rodriguez, George “Goober” Lindsey, Jeannie Seely & Jan Howard, and hopefully, The Pirates Of The Mississippi! The new CD will include the bonus Christmas song “Green, Red, White & Blue”, and the song, “Mistake Child” which will be released next year as a single, along with a video. Other songs on the album include, “L.O.V.E.”, “Beach House”, “If It Was Meant To Be“, “Find Me A Man Like Goober“, “I Can’t Hurt Anymore“, “Heartache Here I Come”, “If You Don’t Use It, You’ll Lose It“, “Taking It Easy“ and “Loving You For The Last Time Again“. All the songs were written or co-written by Debbie & Carrie. Sounds like it’s going to be a great CD! I’m anxious to hear it myself. I’ll be going to Nashville this month, so I may be listening in at a few sessions at the studio. Keep in mind, “Meant To Be” would make a great Christmas gift! We’ll send out a special announcement when the album is completed. If you would like to pre-order it, we’ll send it to you as soon as it’s ready! See the merchandise page in this newsletter! It will also be available at CDBaby.com or by calling 1-800-Buy-MyCD. You can also order the CD “Million Roses” at CDBaby.com, and there’s a special sale on it this month!

Moore & Moore will be going to Switzerland in November, and they’ll also be going to Denmark in March of 2006! They were just offered a 3-week tour in Denmark as part of the “Country Night“ Tour, which will include 3 or 4 other artists. Debbie & Carrie have never been to Denmark, so they’re excited about it! We’ll have more information (cities & venues) in our next newsletter. It should be quite an adventure!

Our next newsletter will be out in December. Until then, Happy Labor Day, Happy Columbus Day, Happy Halloween and Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy the colors of Autumn!

A Note From Moore & Moore:

Did we have fun at Fan Fair, or what? Congrats to our fan club member award winners, and thanks to everyone for being there and supporting us! Fan Fair is always a hectic week, but it’s great spending time with our fan club members!

We have been working in the studio to get our new CD, “Meant To Be”, pressed and ready! We have lots of special guests and great musicians that have contributed their unique talents to the album. We think you’re going to enjoy the finished product!

We are excited about going back to Switzerland in November. We will be playing the same festival we performed at 4 years ago, but this time, instead of an acoustic show, we get to bring our whole band. Our keyboard player, Bob “Packrat” Stamps won’t be able to go this time around, but our bass player, Robert Green, guitar player, Dan Justice, and our drummer, Vic Mastrianni will be flying the friendly skies with us to Zurich! Keyboard player, Kenny Posey, will take Packrat’s place. Robert, Dan & Kenny will also be going to Japan next month to play with Stonewall Jackson!

We’ll be embarking on a 3-week tour in Denmark in March of next year! It will be just the two of us for that trip. (We’ll be using a back-up band in Denmark). It will be a long time to be out of the country, especially since we also have a talent agency to run, but we can do a lot with a laptop and e-mail,

and the promoter has graciously offered his office for us to use in Randers, Denmark. The promoter has guaranteed at least 8 shows in Denmark and possibly some television shows. We may even write some new songs while we’re over there!

Happy 74th Birthday to our mother and fan club president on October 29th! Congrats to our nephew & niece, Lyles & Laken Moore, on their success at the Junior Olympics! Lyles won 2 Gold Medals for Forms & Sparring (Tae Kwon Do), and Laken won 1 Silver Medal in Forms and a Bronze in Sparring. And, Congrats to our sister, Diana (Dee) who will be retiring from her job as Air Traffic Controller (in Fort Worth, TX) this month! Dee, and her husband Gary, will retire in Tuscon, Arizona. Way to go Dee! Love, Debbie & Carrie
